This is a great environment for this publicity. There are millions of people who don't want to miss the next pfizer/viagra. Could start a bidding war between the big drug Cos too.

Sam, thanks for the sage advice.

Since posting my last message, I hjave done a literature search, and am presently printing out a Jan '97 Fortune article, which is giving me some room for pause.

However, there are two ways to make money ion this stock tomorrow - buy before the top, then sell short along with your stock before the optomistic 30-40% fall!

I'm interested in the stock but agree with you that buying on the news, unless it's a day trade, is usually a looser. How much info has been known before this press release? They say if people "only knew" how much progress was made since last press release...but they don't specify what...is this a precursor to a secondary offering for more $$$?
