Jeff, another strategy I am using for cc writing is buying LEAPS on out of favor, good quality stocks like HWP, MOT, SLB and selling next month out of the money calls to lower your nut on the LEAP. I have done this successfully for the past 6 months or so and now HWP and SLB are moving up. Also, I am not familiar with Quattro Pro and would be interested in receiving your formula information at bressink@startext.net. Thanks...Phillip

Jeff - how about PLC as a candidate? it has high volatility and a modest stock price of 13-14. it recently had successful FDA advisory committee recommendation on its new heart surgery device so FDA approval is now rather likely in the near term. also they are looking to price in part on a per use basis to obtain continuing revenue. the stock has been to 20 and now back down so there are many strike prices available to sell cc's and good premies
