[STRR ... Contract Guess] Hi, Ray ...

>>twice the amount in 1/2 the time...Think this is a good way to compare them?<< As Chuckie (Rugrat) would say, "Uhhh, I Dunno" ...

(Just got home, these weekends of company and social engagements are killing me AND my waistline. Time for the BIG D-I-E-T.)

Anyway... When I read the two STRR contract news articles in tandem, I had some questions... (I read 'em twice ... wine can sometimes interfere with analyzation so doublechecking seemed in order)...

Re Army Imaging Contract, I'm not sure we can equate the 4.3 million images to the 2.3 million tax returns. Seems there might be different services being offered here.

(1) " CDT will scan U.S. Army enlisted personnel records and convert them into optical disk images that can be stored in the Army's online PERMS system."

(2) " Over the life of the contract, CDT will process more than 2.3 million individual tax returns, providing data entry and verification services, as well as electronic submission to the state."

Are they performing more extensive services for the State of Indiana?

I'm a bit confused as to exactly what CDT is doing in regard to the taxes ... Perhaps someone else has a better understanding of the services being provided on the two contracts.

Additional thoughts??

Carol
