yes you need a data provider. I believe AOL has a free service but it is very slow. Many seem to like Quotes Plus which runs around $13 per month. I use Reuters but I am looking for another provider. Would not say I recommend them. Other than a quotes provider you only need windows 95 or NT

It's a charting service - you need data. TC2000, Quotes-Plus and others do that. Q+ seems the best combination of economy and service. Since MSW is "an industry standard", it is not hard to find services that can generate MSW compatable data. However, watch out for the various versions and the limits on number of stocks in one list (was 255, higher on later versions, which all data services do not support.
