Yiwu,

Assuming that's accurate, Datek does you a disservice by not issuing a margin call. It's similar to going long on margin, stock tumbles, and broker does not call client, hoping stock will rise. This never happens because the broker has loaned tangible shares.

The only scenario I can imagine than allows Datek to give such latitude is they are loaning non-existent shares. In that case the short shares could be much higher than the 900k float. The longer the rope they allow and possible over-shorting could result in an even greater Ktel spike up and more damage your account. The longer the rope, the better the chance of shorts hanging themselves.

I am beginning to understand how a PRST or OCCF can reach into the $100's quickly. Impatient shorts trying to pick tops. Remember the safest and most reliable part of a stock's move is the middle. You apparently think the middle is behind us. I think the $50 mark is probably less than the middle of Ktel's run.

Best
Rashid

PS. Yiwu, the irony is that the shorts are probably right about Ktel and N2k and CDNow. Wether they survive long enough to reap rewards on the downtrend is the question.

I hope everyone that is short KTEL as of right now will stay short! Believe me they have a way of getting almost everyone out of their shorts before it starts down! This stock is not ready to fall at this time!
