Sowbug, I use a cash account and don't trade on margin. I heard from someone on the DIGI thread that it they can not loan out bb stocks. I don't know. Also, that you can request that stock be placed in a local safe meaning theirs on premises. Just have to call the broker and request it.

Now, that still don't quite cover the Y2K problem of banks and brokerages. But, another topic for another thread... LOl
