I have been using Windows 98 candidate release 0 on my laptops and it has been much more stable than Windows 95 osr 2.

I think Windows NT 5 is going to be the bigger market mover for the entire industry (though it won't be out until sometime next year most likely).

The real issue is one of freedom as it pertains to Win 98. If you think the street is nervous, you are right because in my opinion the government is overstepping here and the street can't predict who would be attacked next. As long as you have the freedom to spend your money you have the freedom to choose an OS other than Windows. This is nothing more than a manifestation of the liberal mind thought that it is unfair to be successful when other are not. If the Clintonistas win this one we will have lost far more than a few dollars in share price. I hope Gates stands his ground, the only mistake he made was to not contribute to the reelection of this embarrassment of a president. Steve
