Oil futures look to be called down about .40. DLJ is pumping up the oil service and integrated oil issues this morning. They mention specifically HAL, BHI, EVI, JRM, FLC and NBR. (credit Maria, cnbc). A senior analyst from Cantor Fitzgerald also mentioned drillers as the place to be. Looks like everyone is hopping on the bandwagon. Also: Western Atlas to Acquire Z&S Geoscience Ltd. HOUSTON, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Western Atlas Inc. (NYSE: WAI - news) announced today it has entered into a purchase agreement to acquire Z&S Geoscience Ltd., a UK-based company providing reservoir data processing and interpretation and database management solutions for the oil and gas industry. Details of the transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions, were not disclosed.
