JA:

I think you're twisting my words around. I appreciate your respect for my trading abilities, but my position in Winstar has very much to do with questions of fundamental valuation.

I think everybody who's long on Winstar has become a victim of their own success. My arguments are not that Winstar couldn't possibly be successful. Rather, that much of that potential success has already been priced into the securities.

If you like, please go on believing the prevailing notion on this thread.

"We will make money in the future because we have already made 5X our money in the past."

I prefer to look at things a little more analytically.

Regards,
JC

<..Jason, as a trader..>

Good one, JA. Almost made me choke, laughing up my corn chips.

And though I have previously agreed with your analysis, as both a fundamental investor and a trader, I resent your categorization of him <1/2 g>. I mean, gimme a break.. he comes out huffing and puffing, and then backpeddles and claims he was mistaken about getting filled on his call short? I guarandangtee you, any "trader" (options or otherwise) knows their positions immediately, or at worst by day's end.

IMO, this mouthy joker is, at most, a 2nd year business major who gets jollies trying to yank the chain of whoever will pay him attention. At least fink KNOWS he's an idiot and doesn't begin to take himself seriously. But you know how some kids (usually the skinny, bullied types - HEY, a pattern?) are sure they know what's up, and are determined to convince the rest of the world? Trust me, this is just an attention-starved poseur, who even as a business student is weak in his presentation of the bear case.

As you know, the bear case is not "does the tech work?", or "is there a market for what they are selling?" or "does it cost a lot to build a telecom infrastructure?". It is simply "will they execute?". I'm betting that they will continue to do so, and am in some quality company in this belief.
