STHK news release states the following: WILTON, Conn., Dec. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Startech Environmental Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: STHK), a fully reporting company, announced today that the Startech Demil team received notice of the release of Phase One funding for the U.S. Army Demil technology procurement. Phase One requires the team to provide engineering, programmatic and technical data on its Demil production processes, production rates and methodologies to replace incineration. I spoke with STHK and the monies released was $50,000.00 for this part of Phase One with the US Army. For additional information concerning STHK visit their web site: startech.net I visited PLAS web site and found this statement under "The Market", "Exceptionally good Destruction and Removal Efficiency (DRE) results were obtained and, consequently, the Company is pursuing commercial opportunities in the demil program." It appears STHK is part of a demi program while PLAS is pursuing commercial opportunities in the demil program. PLAS and STHK both have the technology and neither of them have exclusive rights to North America. STHK has a deal with the US Army for the plasma based technology. Nothing in STHK web site mentions a patent.
