All,
I KNOW this. This is not speculation. The procees of calling for your certs is as follows:
1. You call your broker and request your cert. More than likely
it will have to be done in writing and there will be a small fee ($5-$15 per certificate) .
2. The broker then sends the request to the brokerage clearing house.
3. The clearing house sends the request to the DTC (depository).
4. The DTC sends the request and the actual shares to the TA (transfer agent).
5. The TA prints your certificate in your name and then sends it back to the DTC.
6. The DTC then sends your certificate to your broker.
7. Your broker then sends your certificate to you.

This process usually takes about 4-6 weeks. The fastest I have ever known was 2 weeks and I know of people that have battled for months
until they got them.
