Vlad: It's been my experience that the law firms in these types of suits have very little fear of NOT being paid. (In a case a few years ago involving a former employer, I unwittingly left a class action attorney on hold for a good 20 minites - instead of hanging up and calling back - this guy just held, guess he must have needed some billable hours that month.) A friend of mine was just involved in a similar suit (as plantiff,) and since his lawyers were on a %payout basis, he was STRONGLY encouraged to settle before he wanted to (and before a jury trial could be held.) In most cases, a company will have some insurance, or Balance Sheet reserves to cover at least a part of the costs. So much for justice. Regards.
