WHEW!!! AT LAST!! CAUGHT UP WITH READING THE POSTS!!!! (At least for the next minute or two).

As Mark knows, I sent him a PM over an hour ago with the number of shares that I am calling in tomorrow....and finally I'm through reading and so now am free to post.

Ok...now I have a question about calling in one's certificates. A number of us have brought up the possibility of someday in the future the stock doing a split.

Ok...here's my question......Let's say that I call in for my certificates on 1,000 shares. Let's say that in the future we get a 2 for 1 split. Ok....those 1,000 shares are now 2,000 shares. Are those 2,000 shares already in certificate form....OR is just the original 1,000 shares in certificate form and the new 1,000 shares in street form?

Don't I ask good questions? <g> Betcha nobody knows the answer!
I think I'll ask my broker tomorrow and then post my findings to the thread.

Juanita

I've always called them as I see them. Never felt the need to be part of the in crowd. Still feel that calling in the certs is a dumb idea. DGIV has just run from $.30 to over $7.00 in less than two months. Probably the best % gain in the whole stock market. The brokerage houses held possession of all of our certs during this run. Why take possesion of them now? People still saying stock is way undervalued and held down by the shorters. The fact is the shorters have gotten their butts kicked in the past two months. They'll continue to get their butts kicked as long as DGIV keeps making deals and making money. We don't need to be another OVIS/RMIL joke. Take a look at that thread if you want to see calling in your certs in action. It's still a dumb idea 250 posts later.

1,552,320??? And it's not even daylight yet!

Yes....I DO think that the message will be sent!

And now for a few words.....Byron....Judith....what am I going to do with you two? You're both such nice people. I hope by now that you two have e-mailed each other and kissed and made up.

But just in case you haven't.....I'm going to share something that I hope that Judith doesn't mind...because if she does mind then I'll feel bad...but...here goes.

Judith is as much a DGIV-a-holic as any of us. I know.

But everybody is different. So now I'll take some poetic license and give MY spin on two personalities whom I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting. My apologies in advance if I am wrong.

BYRON - THE VISIONARY - He's the one who sees the dream....seizes it...and then runs with it. He doesn't necessarily need the picky little details because he can see clearly the WHOLE picture. He's the thoroughbred....the racehorse....the STALLION.
He feels true impatience with anyone who can't see what he sees, especially since he's been correct in the past.

JUDITH - THE WORKER - She's the one who NEEDS to have the picky little details in order to feel comfort. She's the trusty quarterhorse, but she's still a little skittish...and wants to make SURE she's doing the right thing.

Now you don't tame a skittish quarterhorse by yelling at them.....
You simply gently guide them as many times as is necessary until they are truly comfortable with you.

But at the same time...the skittish quarterhorse shouldn't keep bugging the stallion....cause he has other things to do.

In other words, Judith....your questions are good...but I can really see where they could drive Byron (the stallion) crazy. You need to start asking your questions to the sweet, patient mare or gelding
who can answer them as many times as you see fit. (Oh dear...I'd better pick a term other than gelding or NONE of the guys on here will ever talk to you again! <ggggg> Ok, let's change it to the sweet patient mare and wise guidehorse. The job of the guidehorse is to help the stallion.

Anyway.....you are both long on DGIV....it's just that Judith is still on the trail...whereas Byron has finished the trail and is racing for the destination.

I sure hope the above made some sense. If it didn't, then please forgive me...it's late and I'm sleepy.
