John, I don't know anything about Web TV but it may have to do with accessing a secure Datek server. Sometimes I'll access the net with modem teaming software which acts as a local proxy server. When I do this I can not access a secure Datek web page -- I have to go into netscape and do a "manual proxy configuration" that allows me to bypass my proxy to directly get into a secure site that I have listed This may be a similiar problem to what you are having but I have no idea if it is even possible or how to go about correcting it in Web TV Steve
