Some think that if Vasomax were approved, it would have an advantage over Viagra because it purportedly works in 15 minutes rather than an hour or two. Viagra is working on a version that works in five minutes, according to CNBC news this morning. Here's a WSJ article about this development:

Headline: Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) seeks faster form of Viagra-WSJ

======================================================================
NEW YORK, May 4 (Reuters) - Pfizer Inc. has signed a deal
with R.P. Scherer Corp. (NYSE:SHR) to help develop a faster-acting
version of Viagra, the hot-selling new anti-impotence drug, the
Wall Street Journal reported Monday.
Currently, men must take the pill one hour before they can
have sex. But under the pact with Troy, Mich.-based Scherer,
the drug may take new form to speed up its effects, the Journal
reported in its electronic edition.
Pfizer is performing biochemical research on Scherer's
Zydis delivery system and may proceed to clinical trials if it
can, the paper said.
Zydis is a wafer-thin delivery agent that may allow
patients to take Viagra only a few minutes before sex, the
paper said.
Pfizer officials told the paper that any new form for
Viagra is still years away.

I noticed that when it came to upcoming news, some of our "longs" hinted about it and knew about it, but never posted it for all of us. It was nice of me to post the poster here, while any of them could have posted it sooner.

Now, I'll give them something to think about. The NEJM will have a pice in a week or so that should raise the bar in terms of standards for quality studies on ED drugs. Considering the quality we've seen on Zonagen's studies, I expect this might lead to some additional hurdles for Vasomax.

Anaxagoras - The release, or not, of another "report by Asensio ...

will be a good indicator of his position - IMHO.

Zonagen was mentioned this morning on Don Imus' national radio show. Imus is an irreverent radio jock with one of the largest audiences around - I think he claims about 20 million listeners. Mentioned Zonagen as a small company with a pill that "does the same thing as Viagra" but that "the stock was only around $30/share". He has been having lots of fun with Viagra since its introduction - songs, comedy skits, etc. They really don't know much about Viagra, ED, etc - but it's great to get the name mentioned.

Of course, I suppose he's now part of the scam?
