GLCP ... Synopsis GREENLAND CORP - OTC BB: GLCP Outstanding shares 37 MIL Restricted 27 MIL Float 10 MIL Trading has been crazy this week with over 40 million shares trading hands in the past 4 days. The majority of the volume is the result of daytraders which have caused many spikes and dips in the price but it has closed up again today for the fourth day in a row. The stock was 4cents on Tuesday and has reached an intraday high of 49cents on Wednesday before settling at 25cents to close the week. Contact Info: (619)566-9604 or (800)234-4226 Brief Summary of GLCP's wireless meter reader: Greenland's AirLink is a wireless system that enables municipalities and utility companies to read meters (gas, parking, etc.) and transmit the data to a central computer for use in collections, billing, and resource management. It is a combination of digital hardware, radio transmission circuitry, and software. When attached to a meter, AirLink will read and store the data and transmit it back to a computer for use by the operator (no more need for surveyors to travel from house to house manually reading the meters). Pending Developments: They have been researching, developing, and testing this system for several years and it has already been delayed for over a year as they finalized and worked out the bugs and now it is finally ready to be deployed. The system has just recently been presented to the FCC for approval and this process takes approximately two weeks if all goes well. FCC approval is a major stepping stone in the company's future because once the approval comes in the contracts will start to be announced. They have several potential contracts on the table, some are finalized (assuming FCC approval goes through) and some are near finalized...total potential business from pending contracts is $300 Million... The company plans to sign contracts (issue news releases) on a weekly basis once FCC approval comes in. People have become impatient with this stock thinking they'd never get the system up and running (thus the drop to 4cents) but we are within reach of the end of r&d and the commencement of large-scale production. Already 100,000 metres of service is finalized representing over $70/metre or $7 million to GLCP plus the contracts on the table from several municipalities all over USA and a large contract in discussions for Brazil which we will learn more about after we hear word of FCC developments. The company has stated there will be a news release this week. This entire week the company has been in discussions with all of their market makers who have called to try and find out what's going on behind the scenes with GLCP since there has been huge buying this week. The company would not release details to the MM's. As well, the VP of Prudential Securities himself contacted GLCP this week regarding some big clients of his who wanted to know what was up with GLCP since it's trading patterns have definitely caught their attention. Other notables: The CEO has been determined to get this company out of the r&d stage and into the production stage so he has elected to not take a salary. He was forced to sell 200k of his own shares lately at .04 to "feed my family". He has put his heart and soul into this and within the next couple of weeks he will be able to reap his rewards. GLCP has also been working on some alliances with other industry players including the most recent agreement with Symmetry Device Research Inc. Also at the present time, there are some municipalities which have reached agreements for GLCP to supply them with test systems.
