I think that's what they refer to as "the straw the broke the camel's
back". But, it's just not fatty diet, although that's a big part
of it. Also think about smoking, lack of exercise, obesity, high
blood pressure, stress, diabetes and other largely avoidable risk
factors which contribute to heart disease. What you are describing
is the final sad act in a long series of self abusive actions.
I'm not ready to give up my English muffins just yet, but will
weigh the risks in view of my other living habits :-)

Given the western population's propensity to self destruct in so
many ways, I think that IMAT's heart scanners will have a large
customer base for many years to come. I don't think we'll see
"Gattica"-like governmental control over our health for a little
while yet, and I have little faith in our ability to look after
ourselves adequately. Especially so if the health insurance
companies want no part in preventative medicine.

But, I'm starting to ramble, so I'll see you later.
