Dear Ms. Manners, a person with whom I correspond seems to think that I am impolite when I point out the truth and offer good faith advice. I do not use foul language, and make only oblique references to what I really think of that person's general cluelessness. Surely "impoliteness" is in the perception, not in the utterance? What should I do?
