Mohan, my favorite part:

Compaq (NYSE:CPQ - news) and Gateway (NYSE:GTW - news) round out the rankings at the lower end, averaging lower scores across the board than the sum of their competitors. Compaq, with a customer loyalty rating averaging 10% lower than that for Dell; is particularly weak against its competitors in the areas of on-site service, value added services, price/performance and total cost of ownership. Compaq's scores are consistent with the previous quarter's findings. Gateway, averaging 8% lower than Dell in customer loyalty, did improve considerably among its customers in the sample for arrival conditions (delivery time, ease of set-up, and out of box quality). While stronger than its competitors for price/performance, Gateway's scores for on-site service, volume discounts, and value added services were significantly lower than those among its competitors.

Thanks for a great post!

TTFN,
CTC
