The MM, Market maker, is the one who buys your stock when you sell it.

The MM, is also the person who sells you the stock when you buy it.

On the BB, NASDAQ, (as differentiated from the NASDAQ, NMS, National Market System,) the MM exclusively, EXCLUSIVELY controls the bid/ask price.

Nothing you say or do with regards to the buying or sellin price you execute at, can change that... if the MM is going somewhere's else.
