Anyone care to speculate on a gold spike due to currency exchange rates?

O49er, I just post em. Not sure whether Rees Mog is anti-woman, anti-progress or not.

But I think he makes some valid points about potential Euro weakness and particularly about discontent with that in Germany. In particular:

1) emu is currently made up of 11 countries, many of which have had consistently weak currencies and many of which would not have satsified maastricht without stretching the rules ot the limit;

2) if this weekend is any indication, ECB won't be from political influence of these countries.
