CTC, I know Win NT 5.0 is big for MSFT as big or bigger then WIN 95 in the long run we will all be on NT and dos will die with WIN 98. I my mind MSFT is betting the farm on NT 5.0.

Cat,

The W98 preview that I have has some very desirable features, in my opinion. I will upgrade just to get the FAT32 allocation system. While they are not making a 'big' deal about it, I think that MSFT will have some pretty neat upgrade stuff. W98 is (according to what I have been told) the last W upgrade, next will be NT. The hardware is going away from the ISA and serial buss as we know it. We will all have to upgrade within the next 2-5 years as the old hardware is phased out.

Regards,

Ken
