I did a term paper on the internet being a frontier. I had to tell why I thought it was a frontier and how it compared to the frontier in the John Wayne movie Cowboys or the frontier in City Slickers. It was a fun class I took for the hell of it at SUNY westbury 4 years ago. Someone reccomended, so I took it and enjoyed it. We read a narrative about someone captured by the Indians in the 1700's. It was the winter. As homework we were to asasigned to wear boots to the next class. SUNY Old West has a wild campus with miles of wood and trails. This guy in his mid to late 60s led the class on a 1/2 hike through snow to get the feeling of it, to make the book more real. It was loads of fun.
