I do respect your opinion Michael and I am sure with your background in the UNIX industry you are certainly more qualified then I am to comment on individual applications. Still, I am curious why you have seen fit to dwell mostly on the negatives? Is it your experience or current view that there are NO positives coming from SUNW?

As I have previously stated, I believe that SUNW will continue to grow at a substantial pace (say 18 to 20% per year) for the foreseeable future. This growth rate may not be enough for some investors, like those who want KTEL like price appreciation, yet I find this growth rate excellent for a company the size of SUNW.

While there are many who think that JAVA is a waste of effort by McNeely and crew, I strongly disagree. JAVA, for all the press and associated hype, has the long term potential of moving the computing industry in a direction that will stimulate cooperation and integration. While there are many shortfalls to JAVA in it's current infant stage, the fact that SUNW is becoming more visible to the public due to JAVA overshadows these same , and hopefully temporary, shortfalls.

I would greatly appreciate if you could detail the "Myopia" you are encountering. If you mean that this thread's focus on SUNW is bullish, well, I think it is obvious why that would be.
