Compaq Computer Raised to Short-Term 'Buy' at Brown Brothers Bloomberg News May 4, 1998, 6:50 a.m. PT Princeton, New Jersey, May 4 (Bloomberg) -- Compaq Computer Corp. (CPQ US) was raised to short-term ''buy'' from short-term ''hold'' by analyst William J. Milton Jr at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. The 12-month target price is $38.00 per share.
