James,

I think the sentiment you just articulated is a very strong
indication that we are at a market top.

This morning I looked out and my tulips were all wilted.
There are major rumblings in the Asian Market. Hong Kong is
in a crisis and there appears to be another selloff coming
in Tokyo in reaction to this weekends developments. Seoul is
also faltering again.

Fund outflows surpassed fund inflows last week for the first
time in about three months.

We are retesting a high here and it looks like the market is
running out of steam with not much available to push through
these levels.

Note the Dow Industrial outpacing the other averages. This is
also indicative of "toppiness" (How I hate that word).

Tried to short KTEL, LCOS, and AMZN this morning. Only AMZN shares
were available to short. This is a good sign. More shorts will
be able to get in and accelerate the downward spiral.

Good Luck,
Joe

P.S. Did you all catch AOL CFO Lender's comments about AOL stock
in Barron's. He actually makes Amazon.com's CFO seem scholarly
and fiscally conservative.

James, Thanks for your comment. I do own a few hundred shares of Csco; instead of writing covered calls, I shorted raw shares for the first time. I was just thinking about gaining some experience; but the short order was executed very quickly.

Also thinking about writing UNCOVERED Amzn's May 85 calls for over $12 premium (currently is at $11 plus)?? (Own 3 May 100 puts.)
