Oh Man,

You guys are going to love this one I just caught in the 5/4/98 issue of PC Week in Katt's column:

'...Some unhappy Borland employees don't like what they're hearing from top executives regarding the company's latest turnaround strategy. A group of insiders claim to know the real story behind last week's corporate names change. Inprise (nee Borland), the tipsters say, has a veritable boatload of inventory clogging up the channel. Changing the name creates much-needed distraction and also gives Borland an excuse to pull back all of the unsold goods under the guise of repackaging. Is the move a stroke of genius or the stuff from which shareholder suits are made?'
