Fuisz Tech Irish Unit Gets Research pact from Pfizer

CHANTILLY, Va. (Dow Jones)--Fuisz Technologies
Ltd. (FUSE) said its Irish subsidiary, Fuisz International
Ltd., will conduct research for Pfizer Ltd. on orally
administered, rapidly dissolving tablets.

Pfizer Ltd. is a unit of Pfizer Inc. (PFE).

In a press release, Fuisz said the pact marks the second
agreement with Pfizer this year.

Fuisz said the latest project incorporates core
proprietary technologies from both companies.

Fuisz is a pharmaceutical and food ingredient company.
