My small purchases today seemed not to help. I am perplexed as well.
Can someone please tell me if this private SI message I received is correct or not? I generally trust this person, but since I don't know them personally??? They say they have been buying 500 shares each day since this information, and will continue to until the stock is $30. I seem to remember reading a public post that was similar to this. It said that COGIF was the Mad Monk's 1st Y2k stock pick now, and that he was not going to speak to anyone until it got to around $35. Can anyone confirm this or post a link to this information? If true, can someone get in touch with him and tell him to get this ball rolling please!

I remain,

SOROS

ps With the companies that are doing business with COGIF, I can not help but think that they will have rocketing revenues at some point this year. The conference call hinted at next quarter being even stronger. I don't quite understand what seems to be the market's preoccupation now with post-Y2K business. If 600 billion is to be spent, these companies will have plenty of reserve cash to do just about whatever they want. I would much rather cram 30 year's earnings into 3 and then worry about what I wanted to do. Someone needs to get the media's attention re-focused. Not that I want to see tragedy, but a nice Y2K disruption of a major company would suit me fine about now.
