Rudedog,

I don't disagree with who's paying whom for politcal favors.

My point really is, Novell has Directory Services which actively works to enhance Netware4 and soon to be released NW5, along with NT4, and maybe someday NT5. While MSFT mentions Active Directory which at this point is really vapor-directory.

So, Orrin Hatch's actions really aren't the critical thing to NOVL's future. They may put a little pressure on that happy-go-lucky, charming and easy going Bill Gates, but Dr. Eric Schmidt is the "smart cookie" behind the turnaround of Novell.

Regards,

QuadK

Rudedog,

BTW, I live in the Washington, DC area, read the Wash Post everyday (but I'm sick of the political writeups ;), and use to work on The Hill, in a congressional office. So, yep, I do know how the political machinery works, but the attack on MSFT are much more than just NSCP, NOVL and SUNW. If you don't think so, you too are very naive, or overly emotionally attached to MSFT.

Regards,

QuadK
