From the Yahoo board: ---------------------- on ABC chunderr May 4 1998 6:00PM EDT I was out of town this weekend and checked into our hotel Saturday afternoon. Anyway, my wife turned the tv on and was flipping thru the channels. There was a golf tourney on and they had an small part about the first reciepient of the first ever David Marr Award! Presented by the David Marr Foundation! The announcer was talking about how prestigious the award will become. Did anyone else catch this? It was on ABC and I did not even catch the winners name. I thought it was great press, and there is obvious respect for what csgc and the foundation is allready doing. A good pr firm, would be letting us stockholders and potential stock investors know of that mention. Cannot wait to get one! Did anyone else see this? ----------------------- Message 913 of 924 Reply To All... Johnny_2Bad May 4 1998 6:38PM EDT A little over a week ago it was reported to this board by myself and others as told to us by an individual associated with the company, that: 1 significant news was to be released very shortly by the company and, 2. they are in talks with a very accomplished PR/stock promotion firm to handle such releases. The delay in #1 is directly related to the endeavor involved with #2, an endeavor that should prove significant to all shareholders as it will create much needed awareness with a much larger investor base. I was told last week that the company is being leaned on to put out this particular news by the party on the other end of the deal regardless of the PR situation on our end. CSGC management has been working to have this firm in place in time for this pending news, but I was told today that it is fast becoming out of thier hands as the other entity is leaning increasingly harded on them to put it out, so it could come at any time. I was also told that the news is of "foundational" significance and is a deal that Damian has been working on and hoping to secure for a long time. If you are a long term shareholder and already have your position, either situation, ideal or not shouldn't matter that much in the long term scope of things. However, if you don't have a position, it is a gamble IMO as you just might miss the ride to the next level this company is progessively building toward. ---------------- <- Previous Message 924 of 924 Reply Nice piece on late Dave Marr...
