DJ, RE: Tell me more.

Pearls like these are truly rare. You have a dizzying intellect. Please share more inspiring thoughts with us.

I will attempt to emulate your high standards.

A stock rises until it falls.
A stock falls until it doesn't anymore.
I inhale until I need to exhale. (Bill Clinton never inhales)
A trend continues until it changes direction.
That which does not kill you hurts like hell until you're dead. ( A German guy said something like this didn't he?)
The battle is won until it is lost. (Von Clausewitz maybe??)
A ball in motion continues until it stops.

Chris

PS I hurt my back the other day while weight lifting, and laughing so hard at your post was the most painful part so far. (Note: nothing serious just a temporary muscle strain)

DJ, I know it sounds wierd, but how many times do I see some post from someone who says XYZ is too high (i.e., AOL) and I'm going to harpon the whale. Twenty points higher, they wonder how it happened. The point being that most of the trends last a considerable period of time. Why go against the trend; wait til it reverses before betting its going to change.

Think about it!
