Scott, I've never subscribed to his newsletter even on a trial basis, thus I am not in a position to pass judgment on its quality or lack thereof. His public web publications have generally created a favourable impression with me. He certainly seems to have a vastly higher level of knowledge and understanding of the business and the companies than I'm ever likely to have. He used to freely share that knowledge here at SI before some jerk falsely accused him of hyping his newsletter. My only complaint with Carl / Infrastructure based upon what I have seen relates to his timing for buying or selling stocks. If the newsletter is great for raw research, I may consider subscribing. (I believe in freely sharing info on the web. To date, the only service I pay for is the WSJ.) Best regards, Ian.
