I wouldn't look for a split announcement until Dell gets past $100. Really I would expect it around Sept/Oct for an announcement with asplit effective before for Thanksgiving. Let us give thanks, :o)

re DELL split LoD, Agree with your analysis. However, I am not about to guess what kind of increase in authorized shares the board will request. It may be 1 billion, or they might just go ahead and ask for 3 billion to take care of the next split all at once. If there is no agenda item requesting an increase, I will be astonished. Although DELL stock is currently trading in the historical split range, like you, I do not expect a split this soon, although I think it would have been more likely had the Asian woes not postponed the last one. I think that the November time frame seems likely, though it may happen earlier. Thanks for the post, 3.
