This if FAMH's first filing.
It probably takes a bit longer to get all their crap into the system.

Other firms that have filed previously are probably already set-up on the system. So it takes them only 12-24 hours to post.

Ira said the filing was sent to Edgar. According to several postings Edgar can get filings posted in hours. That is, if it is originally submitted in proper format; otherwise a delay, correction and resubmission.

While I'm tempted to think, "Why can't it ever be simple," let's remember sometimes it is and we get unexpected good news like +$33mm in business for Myriad.
