Colby, All Urologists will not do this the same and who knows how the PCP will handle it. We usually Rx six 50 mg pills to titrate the patient. Try one if it doesnt work then try two. The pills here are from $10 to $13 apiece. Of interest is that 50 mg is the same price as 100 mg. That's why we only give six initially. The pills are skillfully shaped (trapezoidal) so that it is difficult to split them. Most patients should be able to figure out if it "works" in 2 to 3 wks. Note that some of the psychogenic cases may fail at a later date when the placebo effect wears off and they return to their original problem. Is this any help? IMO we should look for Q3 to show any meaningful numbers. Hang in there.
