Marcos, AS I said, in my youth, I have expereinced both sides of that coin. Neither is fun. I do agree that most of it stems from fear. It is fear that leads to intolerance and blocks communication. I was remiss in not stating that earlier. As far as the difference between aethieist and agnostic is concerned, I have people who descrbe themselves as both in my congregation (seperate people of course). I also have many people who very fervently believe in God. U.U. is a non-credal religion, where individuals are free to find their own path. that path can take many different turns, and have many different meanings for each of us. I am still on my path, and so far it has been a very interesting and rewarding process. I can only pray that it stays that way. Best to You and yours, mark (of the lower-case marks:-) )
