DLJDirect is a definate No NO, for many reasons. I have used 5 discount brokers, and if you can live without options, go DATEK.

IMO, DLJDirect is good for position trading. I don't think a day trader would be too pleased as sometimes the fills are a bit slow (unless DLJ is a specialist in the market.) You have options capability. If you have $100K in assets, you have access to DLJ research which is not bad. They specialize in the Oil Services sector.

Nuc, don't know. I use Discover (formerly Lombard). No complaints, just not an $8 trade.
