<<off topic>>This will be my last message about ENMD on the CYMI thread...promise. But, Zeev,Zeev, if you read the detailed reports you'd find that, in fact, the animal tests did not find ANY cancers that did not respond to the combination of the two chemicals, even leukemia. In addition, while there have been tons of very positive animal tests before, I have never read of any that showed a 100% elimination of cancer in the tested animals. Lastly, the scope of the market is indeed larger for the ENMD drugs than for Viagra. The 30 million number is a gross distortion of the scope of the problem. There are only about 100 million men in the U.S. over the age of 20 and 30% of them are not impotent. Whereas, the number of new cancer cases is larger than the 1MM you cited and this is NEW CASES per year. Over the next 30 years something like 60M people in the U.S. will get cancer. The cost to treat these cancers is measured in the TRILLIONS of dollars. I'm not quite sure why I'm bothering to point all of this out, I agree with you that it is far from a proven "magic bullet". My main point was that you can throw out the past track record for how long it would take for this kind of drug to get approval if each phase of tests were to show early, similar results to the animal tests. I don't own this stock and don't think I'll buy it, either. However, you can bet that the 12-18 month statement in the press release will bear no relation to reality. The pressure will be intense and if similar results are found in humans, the rest of the path to widespread use will be at a speed that has never been seen before. AIDS had a small and not terribly influential constituency, cancer has a huge and powerful constituency, the difference will be apparent very shortly... I hope the potential of these drugs is proven out and it is the "magic bullet" that people have always hoped for. The odds are against it, but, if it were true it would certainly be the biggest thing since the discovery of anti-biotics. Comparing speculation in this(which it certainly is) with KTEL is a joke(KTEL is a joke and will be back where it was sometime in the next year). There is a small chance this stock will be many
