Could someone please tell me how this all happened? IFMX had a better run 2 weeks before earnings! Now they get good news on earnings and it is struggling to hold on to low 9's. I may be new to the market, but sometimes it makes me feel as if "someone" else is pulling the strings. Not just on IFMX but on all stocks, it seems that the "big money " can pick and choose their "golden boy stock" of the week at will. And the small investor is at the mercy of the "big money". Why do I keep putting my money into something that seems really "fixed"? Should I just ride the coat tails of the "big money" or is doing research myself in other, less desirable stocks, even worth my time?
Just some thoughts from a young troubled investor.
