Darn right. And what's more, is that Sony's partner, Teac, currently makes about 95 Million floppy drives a year. If they were to turn a percentage of this kind of production over to HiFD...game over for LS-120 and Zip.

If this is the case, there would be little in the way of a product shortage. And, in simple supply side theory, supply creates demand. Sony/Teac could easily blow 20-30 Million HiFi drives out the door in its first year to gallop past Iomega's Zip in number of drives sold.

I'm sorry, but I just don't see much of a future for SYQT, provided Castlewood delivers their 2.1 Gig Orb. And Sony should cause a contraction in the size of Iomega. Both can lose big time in this international game.
