I am not trying to take arguement with you, but does a pit to the center of the earth have a bottom? Of course Revelation makes heavy use of similitudes, etc., but each can be explained by reference to other parts of the scripture. I do think the heavy use of similitudes, etc., was God' plain that understanding be bound up until God was ready to reveal it. Certainly, we in this age are much more likely to understand the strange things that are stated in the Revelation of Jesus Christ, than any other previous age.
