Did it ever occur to those who have posted that Seek may have spurned Netscape for potentially another suitor, that it could just as easily have been Netscape that spurned Infoseek, looking to go with the at present stronger partner, Excite?

Mandinga I have been watching the calls slowly shave off good per centages over the last few days and that is why I have been very happy to watch it and the patience of less experienced traders wittle away. You have to be patient and mischievious (in your own mind ) to PLAY THESE DAYS...ho ho ho ...Love that E Trade

Mandinga, This Is Not My Strong Suit, But...

I recently played SEEK's May 40s and had great success.
Now, that maybe a little too short a trip wire for you...
but that's what I'm going to tempt fate with tomorrow
at or around the open. Should be fun.

Other scenario: maybe all the smart money starts glaring
at SEEK as the last UNALLIED property of any note.
Maybe, there won't be the sell-off I'm predicting.
(Bad track record at predictions. Better track record
at buying, holding and keeping the faith.)

Best Regards and Luck To You, Mandinga,
