Trust me, it was a 'minor' loss. At least you
used a credible poetic source for your foundation,
which I am certainly not.

It is time for clarity though. I too believe Borland
has done a tremendous job. But, I am old enough to
remember the Edsel.

My father bought one because he got the
proverbial good deal, but no matter how you market it,
the horse collar grill just didn't make it, despite the
marketing claims.

Just plain common sense ( now there is an abused term )
was more valuable than all the millions spent advertising
the horse collar Edsel. I won't give up my common sense
for marketing hype...when my fine tuned gut says get a
Tums, NOW.

INPRISE has escaped the corral and this filly will never
be brought back to the barn. But we are sure going to
waste alot of resources chasing it down, when resources
could have been better spent repairing the fence.
