Randy, my impression was CCUR's presentation had a much better
picture and terrific response to pause, fast forward, etc., seemed
to be much superior to SEAC. My opinion: SEAC was there because
of their standing with the cable companies (apparently very high).
CCUR was there because of their superior product. We had a long
talk with the Director of IVOD for CCUR. He knew us well, as did
all the rest of the CCUR personnel. They apparently read this
thread and he said he got a lot of laughs out of some of the tech
postings (guess who). There was a heavy flow of traffic in SFA
and CCUR was the focus. Most cable people had never heard of
CCUR, thus for SFA to pick them for such a significant role is
extremely impressive. My son Chris is much better at the details
than I and he said he would only respond to friends by e-mail. As
an aside, there were more great looking chicks there than I have
ever seen (and we are loaded here in Birmingham). Playboy, etc.
on and on were there. It was absolutely awesome.
