Ocote,

You'll have a megaton of cheap stocks soon enough. Any body caught out of cash at the time will wish they were you.

It's tough waiting with only the long term positions to watch, ain't it? You may be one of the few to learn from a success.

S & P 500

I'm sure no one cares anymore, but the S & P 500 RSI 13 has not broken out yet (remember, you can hit the forward button at this point if you don't want to read this).

I care. I'm a consumer of TA here, not yet a practitioner (maybe when I retire). So, I'm relying on some feedback such as yours. Based on Doug's warnings and others' agreement, I traded out of some recently established large cap positions that were intending to be long, longs. Cashed out rather than get hit with the scenario of purchasing them at market peak followed by the, at the time, predicted possible 10% downturn. Of course I sold out at the recent valley prior to the rally.

So, I sit with cash waiting to get back in, but am not going to do so in the middle of a false rally if we're not out of the woods yet. So, keep the reading of the situation coming, I'm not hitting the fast forward button on your posts, at all.

So while you all make gobs of money, I'm sitting here watching my little computer model predicting a continuing downtrend.

On the sidelines here with you. Do you need a hot dog? I'll go get one, if you promise to keep one eye the screen. But first I've got to catch up on a hundred posts, or so.

Thanx for your efforts,

Marc

And I like what I'm seeing so far.
