jack the cci3 and 5 has a new bo, the macd just crossed over, the rsi 3 is a bo, there was a bounce of the bullish threshold smi, smi 3.2.1 bo'd that i see,smi 2.1.2 should bo tomorrow,3mamlr crossed over, also run the entire system for a score... i gotta believe if volume can generate one uptick, the gate is open.there are alot of shortstuff continuation signals and alot of new buy signals. the 2.1.2 is a rapid indicator and maybe not the best for a sell signal, i like the area that it is in...i did notice a huge difference between the e and the apparent s that is in qp, so thanks for making me do some homework.

Jack,

Pull up any chart or charts of stocks with significant upside volatility at any time or times in the past and reference the very short term stochastics. You will find that during more than a few of the strong uptrends you see, there is a pullback in those stochastics even as the price of the stock continues up in the early stages of a significant advance (this is due to the fact that stochastics takes not only the close in relation to previous closes into account, as RSI does, but it also takes the close in relation to the high and low into account. This limits the stochastics in that a stock will not continually gain more than it did the day before and close continually closer to the high of each day) . The hinge is only to be taken as a signal to be alert. It is not, as a rule, a sell signal. ELGT's chart shows a volume supported breakout of a high tight flag. ELGT's flag is best characterized as an ascending triangle. The book on TA says this baby's gonna double. The book, however, isn't always right but the language it speaks is a common one in this case so technicians and programs will be all over ELGT in the short term.

It is good to see you are alert,
Doug R
