ALL I would like a few points about the Killer Momentum Breakout scan that Miles, DougR, Bdog and myself put together this last Friday. 1 - The scan is only a few days old and has not been thoroughly tested. I backed tested it for April 1 and while about half went up in the following month a few stayed about the same and some went down quite a bit. Its not ready for prime time. 2 - We need to come up with a trading strategy for the scan. We need to go back a week or two weeks or whatever and find out if there is a pattern in the TA that signaled the rocket ride that these stocks are on. If you look at the charts they all go up very steeply. Todays play on ELGT that some did so well on was not from the killer scan. Doug had that one pegged weeks ago. This scan can be a killer but for all you lurkers out there, don't just play them. Its just a scan, a starting point to get good candidates to look at and watch for some sort of breakout. Be careful out there. 9
