Gene, if you are talking about Entremed (sp. ?), it may have opened at $84, but it closed at $51 and change...risky business, that.....but now gippy-gee is at the level of risk that I can tolerate....<G>

Gene,
There were posts on the Stock Swap thread before the open by a couple of traders who shorted ENTREMED INC [ENMD] at the open and werre stopped out in the 40's. Good work if you can get it ;)

Gene,

When you hear about the next one, please call me collect, no matter the time of day or night.

Crazy market, this one. KTEL--10 bagger in 3 weeks? Way, way overbought, but may go higher. Strange things happening in this market. I will not call it "Tulipmania", but close. Most of these companies cannot support even a fraction of their price on any rational basis. Perhaps we need to establish a site on SI which deals with these situations?

It would deal with catching these "speculative rising stars" as they break from their trading range and move higher. Just a thought.

This is not the forum for this discussion, but we have lots of good investors here and I open the subject in hopes of finding a forum for these good minds to share their thoughts.

I do not really fit into the ultra short term forums and I am mostly not a short term trader. As an example, I am looking more positively at the large oil companies and some oil service companies. Not just now, but in the future. AMOCO as an example. This area has been in decline and I am looking for a turn. One could look for outright buys or leap options, etc.

I seek to become a much better investor than I have been. I seek for sage advice from sage advisors!!

Notsage, Jack!!
