Tickertype, I was read sections of that article last week. Are you sure it was 500,000 "Li-Polymer" cells per month or 500,000 "Lithium Ion" cells per month

Ticker, I found the EEtimes article:
It was Li-Polymer - here is the paragraph

"Yuasa Corp. of Japan also has announced plans to begin producing the equivalent of 500,000 Li-polymer cells per month for notebook computers this fall and expects to ship samples this month. And, Valence Technology Inc. plans to start production of its rechargeable Li-polymer batteries in its Henderson, Nev., facility, and also in the company's Northern Ireland plant this year."

Let's see who will be first to turn out the quantities!
